The Koi fish represents good fortune and peaceful life. This student-created painting was inspired by the time surrounding Chinese New and thinking about the student's grandparents. The implied meaning of these paintings is to bring good luck to my grandparents, pray for a peaceful life for them, and to wish for them to enjoy their old age.
